Boat name: Pridwyn
Boat price: SOLD
Boat reference: 156
Boat location: River Lea, Stanstead Abbotts, Herts
'Pridwyn' is a three year old 70ft Tug style narrowboat built by Reeves in 2006 and professionally fitted out using high quality fittings by T & S Construction. She is powered by a Barrus 45E four cylinder diesel engine and PRM 150 gearbox.

'Pridwyn' is in excellent condition both inside and out and is ready to begin cruising. The interior is modern, light, airy and comfortably spacious whilst the exterior retains the traditional look of a tug style narrowboat.

She is kitted out to make a real floating home from home with beautiful and high spec fixtures and furnishings. There is a glorious Heritage diesel Range at the heart of the boat in the galley which provides hot water and central heating as well as somewhere to cook gorgeous homely dishes! Black granite work surfaces and a Butler sink compliment the cherry cupboards perfectly and give the galley the feel of a high spec country retreat. A Candy washing machine, Shoreline 12v fridge/freezer and microwave oven are also fitted.

The saloon is huge and has a comfy double sofa-bed, solid fuel Epping Range and an expansive versatile space under the tug deck and fore cabin.

The bathroom is absolutely stunning and features a full sized roll top bath, a Vacuflush Remote Cassette toilet and modern round wash basin set into a black granite surface.

The cabin at the stern of 'Pridwyn' has a fixed double bed and masses of wardrobe space.

As would be expected on a boat of this quality there is an Electrolux 3.5Kva Travel Pack silent generator, a Studer 1600 watt inverter, a 240 volt shoreline and 12 volt lighting with one starter and four domestic batteries.

If you're looking for a traditional narrowboat on the outside but with a 'wow factor' interior that most home owners would be envious of then Pridwyn is definitely worth a look!

As for the name, 'Pridwyn' was the name of King Arthur's ship according to the Welsh poem, the 'Spoils of Annwfn'.
