*New on* 50ft Cruiser style narrowboat built in 1980. Lister SR2 air cooled engine. 4 berth. Sleeps 2 in fixed double bed in own cabin and 2 in large bed settee in saloon. Solid fuel stove with back boiler to radiator. Morco instant gas water heater. Gas fridge. Partially tiled shower room with large tray and Porta Potti chemical toilet. Two year old canopies front and rear. Large BBQ ingeniously fitted to rear of rear deck. Light and airy front cockpit with table and seats. New 12 volt & 240 volt wiring, 12 volt to 240 volt inverter. 3 batteries (2 years old). New 4 year BSC to be completed for sale, current BSC to July '09. Last survey 2002 (copy available).
This boat has a reverse layout with the kitchen at the rear which is ideal for summer BBQ's on the huge rear deck. The canopy is full height with large windows and can be used up or down with the BBQ so typical English summers are no problem!
The saloon at the front is light and airy with plenty of room for the huge and comfy bed settee. There is a full height double wardrobe/cupboard at one end and glazed doors to the front cockpit at the other.
The shower room is designed as a wet room and has a large shower tray so has plenty of space.
'Norma Bray' will be sold with a new four year old BSC and is ready to cruise!
Mooring in Hertford Basin (With electricity, water, telephone, Elsan & car park) may be available by arrangement. Two minutes from Hertford East to Liverpool railway station & Tesco, five minutes from Hertford town centre. |
