| 50ft Calcutt Boats Semi Trad built and fitted out in November 2000. BMC 1.8L diesel engine under semi-trad deck just serviced on the 11th Nov 05. Sleeps 4 in two doubles, one of which is a permanent double in the forward cabin and one on a fold-up settee/double bed in saloon. The front cockpit seating also converts to make a small occasional bed under the canvas for a child. As well as a Villager multi fuel stove in the saloon the cabin heating is provided by an Eberspacher boiler to three radiators. Hot water is provided by the calorifier, Eberspacher and Morco instant gas water heater so this boat never runs out of hot water! 240 volt electricity comes from either the mains hook-up or 1KW Stirling inverter. The 3 new domestic batteries provide 12 volt power and are kept topped up by a Stirling battery charger. The boat has a glazed cratch and fitted cover with clear panels. The rear deck has a pram hood for all weather cruising in comfort and easy weatherproof access into the rear of the boat. There is also a winter cover for the aft deck. The BSC is to 9/12/06 and the hull was last blacked this year. The last survey (by Trevor Whitling) was carried out on 27/11/02, a copy of which is available. This boat has been very well looked after and is exceptionally clean and tidy throughout with lots and lots of well thought out storage and systems which make it an ideal liveaboard. It also comes with full instructions on all appliances on board. |
